I've got a gallon of Sig 5% nitro - 25% castor, leftover from my c/l days. I can't even give it away and I don't want to just flush it.
I'm thinking of blending it with some 15% nitro, totally syn. lube fuel and using it in my bushed engines.
What do you think?
What's the LOWEST lubed fuel on the market to blend it with?
Does using castor really extend life in modern bushed engines?

Yes, yes and...errrrr....yes

The recommended oil for bushed engines is 22% with at least half being castor. That's for very long life of the crankcase anyway.

Wildcat and Byron both sell fuels that are 16% oil. I believe Byrons is by weight and Wildcat's is by volume. Buy their synthetic brands and you should be able to thin down the castor.

Use the last page of this spreadsheet:

You can play with the ratios of mixing 2 fuels together.
