Dirt-hawgs/works work well on both front and rear, although i'd prefer some Step-pins at the front in case of understeer. What shock set-up you running?

Stock shocks with 30 weight oil and yellow springs. I have the stock tires on the front. Keep in mind this is the original Rush not the Evo Rush.

The frames is different and the motor plate which if you had problems with the original ones HPI replaced them. The Evo has the Roto Starter which I like my pull starter better. But I do think that is about it. I do not have the stock motor I have HPI .15 SS, which is much better, then the .15 FE! I know the front A arms are the same because I just broke my first one this week and the part numbers are the same for both. Cannot complaint being it is the first one I broke since it was new 4 or 5 years ago and I have about 5 gallons of fuel throw it. From what I have been told to help with under steer to put softer tires, softer shock springs and or bigger tires in the front. But it does not matter what you do to a 2 wheel drive it will never turn like 4 wheel drive which only makes sense.

When I sent back my chassis they sent me a new motor plate as from what I understand the old one will not work with the new chassis. The new motor plate is cast. There has been several chassis up grades for the original Nitro Rush. What you get now is a black Evo chassis. I actually have the first up dated and the last up dated black Evo chassis. The first up graded was still purple but thicker with the same sorry flat motor plate.

Do the Evo come with tire inserts? My original Rush did not come with them. Not sure how long the Rush has been out but I think I have one of the very first ones.

The only problem i have with my chasis tray is that the underside has got some serious gauges and scratches, i know thats its job but it would be cool if there was a CHEAP plastic undertray to protect it and stop so much rubbish getting in.....anybody know of any undertrays for the EVo rush?
Other wise i think i may have to have a go at making one, time to sharpen my drawing pencil i think.

I don't know of any undertrays for the Rush...

Well, none of those chassis' really work for me, when I first got my Rush (the original one) I sent in the 2mm after it bent, then I got the 2,5 mm, also bent that one after I put a Picco in there, so after that I built 2 4mm homemade T-6 chassis' which I'm still using, works fine for me...

I still wonder why HPI don't come with a heavy duty 7075 chassis like they do on the
MT(2).

I've had a look round and can't find any undertrays myself, so think i'm going to have a go at making one and see how it goes, as i can't believe there isn't one out there!!

I'm thinking plastic undertray with sides that come up to protect the chasis sides and underneath from scratches etc. If i get anywhere with i'll try and post some photos if anyones interested ?

Team Associated makes a clear chassis protective sheet No. 6312 made or teflon. I have some but never took time to put it on so I do not know how well it works. All my frames are all ready beat up.
