Very cool Trumpy. I like the yellow/blk handle-bar mustache on the cowl. Gives a little color to the front. Did you use trim tape ?

Daniel, have you flown it yet and if so how did it fly at that weight and how did you like the new ZDZ. I hope my 3w-80 gives similar performance as the ZDZ

No, I used plastic electrical tape to mask it off because it curves real easy and givs a sharp edge. Then Krylon Short Cuts Spray paint.

Wild Hare has always offered a 10% discount on airplanes to active duty military.

Doh! "After the fact" discovery...

Well, I guess there is another reason now to buy my next plane from Wildhare!

I try to talk to people and learn a little about them when I take an order, usually if someon is active military they let that slip out pretty fast. I'm sorry if I missed you, next time be sure to tell me.

Tom,

I was so pleased with the time you were willing to spend with me (helping and advising) that I'd be back even if there weren't a discount.

BTW, your post as to why you offer the discount (farther on in the thread) was superb. Thank you!

BTW, I'm still trying to forgive Navy for the 'football lesson' they administered to Army this year!

I'm still assembling my first Hare - the 29% Ultimate.

I have been reading through the various WildHare posts that Tom has assembled in the Wildhare support group - it is certainly impressive to see such a consistent record (years!) of above-and-beyond customer support coupled with so many exceptional products. I sincerely enjoyed talking to him when I placed my order and (as my post above indicated) he was super helpful with all my questions (and helped me sidestep some less than optimum equipment choices ) - I suspect you are going to be happy with your experience as well.

Thank you for your continuing service to this great nation.

Well I am finally ready for first flight and it looks like weather will be good enough tomorrow. My CG is at 4 inches at wing root. Instructions call for 3.5 inches. Where do you guys who are flying have your CG?

I think I'll re up too! Of course a different branch this time. I might try for each branch...lol.

Anyone try that new ZDZ 80 super in their 260? I am thinking about trying one out. Mine is already light though at 23.5 with a DA 100.

You might be a little forward, the 3 1/2" measurement is at the wing tips. I balanced mine 2day, spot on with the reciever packs next to the pull-pull servo under the hatch.
