Howie,
The Sherman Club has around 9 IMAC Flyers, all Basic and Sportsman. I fly/practice almost every weekend. Our Bylaws allows you to Fly Two times as a guest of a club member per year(Sponsoring Member must Be Present), then you are expected to Join the Club. Conrad is a member and flies ocasionally. You are welcome to come fly as my guest, but I won't be at the field for the next two weekends (Vacation in Cheeseland). Feel free to call me you can find my contact info on the imac website here http://www.mini-iac.com/EditModule.aspx?tabid=82&mid=592&def=Contest%20Results%20Viewer&ItemId=1628

Dennis,
Sherman is close to you just Drive north on 289(Preston). 289 Dead ends into 56, at this point you are 2 miles from the field.

What's up with the super 80? My friend has one in a 75cc AW yak, it is on gallon #6 and turns a PT 26x10 at 6800, and a Vess 26A (best prop by far!) at 6420. Starts easy, runs great, and lots of power. Feel free to Pm me on the super 80 if you dont want to post it here.

WHen I first tached it...it was showing 5800 - 5900. We have since leaned it up a little...as it was kind of gurgling in flight. I have not tached it since...we were also using a cheap tach...I have the one that plugs into the ignition..but could not get it to work...it kills the engine everytime it is plugged in. Sending it back to get repaired or replaced. It has definitely picked up some RPM's though since we adjusted the needles some along with the little break in time that has accumulated so far. The temp has been reading around 200 - 210 right after shut down.

5900 RPM seems very low. Here is what I have tacked on my super ZDZ-80 on KS-95 can:
NX 27x10 5900 RPM, did not like it noisy, no vertical, no power, it's for sale 25$
Mejzlik 26x10, 6800 , good for 3D
Biela 26x10 6400-6500 Perfect prop for IMAC/3D.
I found the super ZDZ is happy to turn over 6500 RPM.

There are 2 buttons on the ZDZ tach:
-one convert RPM to a bar graph
-the other kills the engine to display the maximum RPM reached in flight.
