Hey all. Whats everyone using for a fuel tank? Anyone using the stock one that came with it. Im putting a MVVS 58 on mine and am wondering if the stock tank will be to small.
    Thanks,
    Steve

I didn't like the tubes and stopper on the stock tank. Had a new Dubro 24oz, and installed it. Of course, haven't flown it yet (still waiting on my MVVS 45)....

I didn't like the tank that was supplied , I used a 24oz Sullivan , mounted in the canister tunnel

I was thinking about getting the tank in the pipe tunnel too, the ZDZ50NG won´t have any problems with that? just want to make really sure about this.... CK1 you did not have any issues with that set up?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about the performance with the tank in the tunnel. It really is a perfect fit. Also is a 24oz tank really needed? This is my first gasser, but 24oz seems like a lotta fuel. But as I said, this is my first gasser so this is why I ask.
    Thanks for any replys.

Well Fellas , I'm still dialing it in and i'm not disapointed at all so far . I 'm spending more time on dialing in than usual as im setting it up on a 9ZAP TX
which i haven't used before . The plane is great , it'll be super when i get the rates the way i like them.
As far as the fuel tank location , No problem .
I have been flying GS gas for several years and have had to place tanks in some pretty remote locations for scale reasons and for access reasons
and i have nevr had a gas engine have a problem drawing fuel from the tank .
I have used zenoah, 3w , brison , US engine , ryobi ,D&B, they all use pump type carbs that can pull fuel quite a ways , although initial prime may take longer the farther away the tank is (the longer the line the more time to prime ).

Looks as though I will also do the tunnel tank setup.
Hows everyone setting up their fuel tank? 3 lines? 1 vent/overflow, 1 line to carb, 1 line to fuel dot?

Ok. I`ve got a BIG problem...the darn wing tubes are tooo damn tight!! I have tried everything, scotchbright pads on the tube, filed the lip thinking it may have a slight flair...even silicone lube...I`m afraid if I do get the wings to seat..I will not be able to get them off. What now? I`m out of Ideas...

Tape some sandpaper on a broom stick and sand the socket tubes.

The KISS method on pluming works for me , keep it simple stu**d
1 vent line , 1 line to carb , use a Tee in the carb line to fill tank from using a fuel dot to block the tee line .
The fewer lines ,the fewer chances for problems
