I am looking to put together an RC car club to race in Northern NJ. I live in Vernon, and I know of a few locations that have big empty parking lots. I was thinking of running touring cars...

Anybody interested? Anybody know of a similar group?

Also,

Rally cars could have a dirt/pavement mix that is ideal...

What do you mean by the Vernon Flats? I was thinking of Mountain Creek's overflow parking lot. It should be OK for touring cars.

I have an RC10 GT FT with a NovaRossi right now. I am thinking about a nitro touring car... But I just put down $2000 for a new Dell lap Might be a few months before I can slip a touring car past the wife

What I was thinking about is a club for touring cars, since there are a few large parking lots that don't get much use. We could go formal when there are about 10 members or so, or just thrash about 1 night a week.

Where are these flats? Do you mean where the fireworks are held each year?

Later!

yeah the two parking lots there where the fire works are held and the big problem with the MT creek overflow parking lot is you can't realy use it unless it is in between seasons but like the parking lot for lounsberry hollow would be pretty good

by the way where abouts in vernon do you live i live over by old orchard ttyl
