I think it would be cool to see where you guys race, either backyard or club tracks. I am gonna build one in my backyard, don't really need ideas just want to see what's out there...i am a fan of design

Cool, I will have to post some pics of my local track when I get down there, and my backyard track when it is done...
any advice on how to get some dirt to build with? Are there companies that dump some dirt, maybe clay? How much does this cost? I might be movin to San Diego this fall/winter so maybe I will race you atomic someday...

Keep your eyes peeled for construction sites with excavating equipment and lots of dump trucks...alot of times dirt is being hauled away to clear a site, and you may be able to snag a load for the cost of the trucking.

4 meters wide and as high as you like and aim for a 40 second lap time.

it's called the farm II , home of the 2006 1/8 nationals and home for the world championship in 2008.

location charlotte,NC

http://www.thefarm2.com

unfortunatly this is a track that only gets raced on a dozen times a year and no practice except the friday before race weekend, but man is it worth it... there are people that will drive 1000 miles just for 1 race... laptimes are about 50-60 seconds...
