Before I ask the question I want to give a little background. I'm using a buddy box setup like this: I have a Hitech analog focus 6 transmitter with receiver in airplane connected to a Futaba analog 6yf transmitter -which is the buddy box- by a Futaba cord. I'm not complaining about this setup because everything works fine...
...Except I have to set the trim way left on the buddy box for both the aileron and rudder so that it doesn't swerve crazy right when I switch over to the student. I still would like a bit more trim because it still tries to go a little right. Has anyone had this problem and is there a known solution to it? If there is, I can't think of it!

The buddy box generates a signal with a 'Center', just like the instructor transmitter. If you want them adjusted to the same 'Center', so the trim tabs are in the same place, you'll have to have one or both adjusted. HiTec can do that, or Radio South, or a number of other transmitter service places.

Good luck,
Dave Olson

Hi guys, Thanks for the tips. I talked to Radio South and they said the radios should be close by default. Anyway, it's given me something to think about and I believe I'll try to manually enter some additional left trim to the airplane's rudder and aileron so that the master trans. trim needs to swing a tad right. Then I can have more "left" to play with hopefully on both trans.
