Can anyone point me in the right direction for a brushless motor to upgrade my stryker with and the battery pack that I would need to go with it. This is my first upgrade so Im kinda new when it comes to brushless motors and such. Any info would be great.

I'm doing a custom job for my dad's stryker. It's got a 16/15/3 (not recommended!!! for novice!) with a phx-45, two 3S2P 2600mah Polyquest packs for a total 3S4P 5200 pack. Not sure on the prop just yet. It's gonna be zippy! This same setup made a Wingwarrior 48" wing hit 144mph out of a dive!

I'm flying the Mutliplex Micro Jet (about the same thing as a Stryker) with a Multiplex Brushless 480 4D with a 40 amp ESC, and 2000 3cell Lipo.. Awesome set up, speeds are over 130 easy.

I've been delighted with the 450TH from www.justgofly.com Comes with a mid speed bell option too, incase you didn't what to go warp 8 all of the time...excellent thrust witha 7X5 prop. Runs 25-26 amps WOT with a TP2100 pak getting well over 12 minutes (I don't have it wide open much, other than to pull verticals).

I have an Align 430XL on my pieced together stryker. I tested the Align 430 xl on my combat wing, but the largest prop I could stay under 30 amps was a 5.5x2- maxed about 28 amps. Anyone out there running a 3 cell 2100 lipo with the 430 xl on a stryker and what prop and speed control. How many amps? What can the batteries take? I have a 25C batteries, I don't know the burst on them.
Pretty new to the lipo brushless world, just getting back into it. Damn fast on my combat wing. If the speed controller could handle the 6x4 I put on the first time, I bet I was over a 100MPH.
Help, I want to go fast and not blow up speed controllerss?
Thanks
