I still have to tamper the jumps smooth but this should give ya'll an idea. It's super smooth now that I box bladed the whole thing again. I've got the jumps laid out along with 5 new jumps including an elevation change.

It's raining so I couldn't go down there and take good ones. I'm probably going to put some woops somewhere too.

First vid is the first time I have ran on anything on here since redoing it all. The jumps are still rough because they aren't tampered. That's getting taken care of tomorrow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFs8k4LRCfw&feature=youtu.be

Second vid is the rest of the battery pack from the first video. I started getting the hang of the track by the end of the pack. I think this is going to be a fun track when finished tomorrow!

Yup Randy was in some of the pics. Him and Paul helped me smooth and tamper the jumps. Paul had to leave at lunch time so he didn't get to run. But me and Randy ran until dark.....

The track is NICE. I am still amazed I did this good of a job considering I've never used a tractor or box blade or bucket before lolol. Paul and Randy LOVE it! You should get you a vehicle and come down and run. Once ya'll boys come down and run on it you will like it I am sure of it.

It's a great track and I wish I could find a way to get it more exposure because anyone into rc's would love to run on it. I'm also going to buy a new lap counting system as well later this year so I can hold races here. I have plenty of pit space, electricity, water, a nice driver's stand..etc...

Round up Scott and everyone and ya'll ride down and run one day. It's a fun track and I think all of you would like it. Just don't bring any 1/5th scales because they will tear the jumps and track up too badly.

So how many of you guys still have rc's to run? We are fixing to name a sunday to where the members of my site along with some others that haven't joined yet are going to have a track goof off day here. Just a meet and greet kind of thing and everyone get some run time in. I'm soon to be buying a lap counting system. Transponders are $55 each and if you plan to run here you will need one. I have a sign up list up on my site. The system new is $870. Once I get 10 prepaid transponders then I will front the rest of the money to buy the system.

Me and Paul got the rest of the pipe laid down on thursday. And I also added some more dirt to the edges of a few jumps to make them fit the lanes properly. Going to add some whoops before long.

Ya'll can come down and run for free all you want until I get the lap counting system and then I'm only charging $5 to run as many vehicles and classes as you'd like to.

The guys that own FOUR local tracks in waynesboro area are on my website now. Just go to Valley Short Course on my site for more info.

Me, Paul and Randy are all going to hit up some of their races this year. They have a timing system and they alternate tracks every race. The pics I've seen look good. Right now all they are running are slashes, blitzes.etc... They only run short course but that is quickly changing from what I hear. The guy said if there is a 2-3 of anything there that he would run a class for them. Hell I have about every class covered now with all the junk I own so I'm not worried about being left out lol.

Did all of you give up on rc's? I remember coming up there and at least 6-7 guys were there running at Scott's. Ya'll dust off those cars and get to running again so I can ride up and have some fun.

I actually dusted off my 777 this week and swapped out the engine and after 3 years its alive again! Matt your track looks amazing, just wish it was closer to C-ville. I'm very interested in the Valley Short Course(s), if there is a place I can run 1/8th scale buggies I'm all IN. I've had a bad itch to get back into nitro RC racing lately. A couple guys at the C-ville car club are interested in the hobby as well, I'm going to "demo" my car for them tomorrow, we meet every Friday 7pm at Darden Towe Park. If we can piece together our old group and maybe add a few more, we could easily bring back the good ol days, maybe? Or am I just dreaming?

Hey Mike!! wow Scott's track is gone? Are they putting in the new road out there? Man - I haven't been out that way for several months when I last did some archery with Allen and I don't think Scott's truck was there or I would have stopped in to say hey.

I have been very busy around the house - we just remodeled the kitchen and that project started in March and I just finished with the painting about 2 weeks back.

How have you been? That go-kart looks sweet always did want to drive one of those.....and no - I don't need one!! But it would be fun!!

Besides projects around the house I started mountain biking with Dave (but it has been too hot for that lately - but will pick back up in the fall) and working in my woodshop.

Hope that all is well with everyone!!!

Does Ashland still run? As for 1/8ths I guess my only real options may be the Tiltyard, Ahsland, and a track in Fredericksburg. There is also 4 tracks around Waynesboro, but they mostly run 1/10th scale electric. Someone at the our Car Club has a track in his backyard just outside C-ville, but it needs a little TLC apparently.

PM'd ya about the cart

you should check out the track that is posted above. The guy who owns it lives in the Amherst area and his name is Matt. He is a good guy and I think you may remember him and a couple of the other guys (Randy and Paul) that used to run out at Scott's and down at the public track in Amherst. Although I think they are in to electric 8th scales - but my guess is that they run for fun and don't care if there is nitro too. He has he new web site posted somewhere in all his posts above.
