Status: offline 		Looks like the weather is going to shape up for the weekend --- too bad I'll be on the road to and from Charlotte, NC. I may try to leave Charlotte very early Sunday a.m. so I can get out to Scott's and watch the fun.


Hey Mac! So you are getting a CRT .5! They are a blast. I picked one up too. I haven't had time to go back through it - I have other projects lined up in front of that one, but come spring I'll have it ready to go. You'll have to come up here and race with us! Scott and Allen bought a transponder system so that always adds to the racing fun. Personally I would like to see us start our own spec class - where we all have the same engine but anything goes for the rest of the truggy (set up, chassis, pipe, shocks etc....). Which CRT did you get?

Hey Joel,

That's great news regardin the transponder system. I can't wait to start racing in the spring again, especially with my new ride! I got the RTR version, I had a ton of gift cards for Christmas to my local Hobbytown so I used all of them up to get it. I also ordered the CNC aluminum steering knuckles, Jammin rechargeable receiver pack, a fuel filter, and a Maximizer rear chassis protector. I will hopefully be picking it up today at my LHS. I can't wait to get it going!

Status: offline 		sounds like nice starting set-up Mac --- you will have a blast with it. We were thinking it would be very cool to have 6 to 8 of the CRT.5's on the track in a race --- we will have to let you know when that happens so you can maybe get up here to race with us! Right now there are 4 of us that have them here in C'ville that I know of -- and I am sure that that will change come spring time.

Status: offline 		I like the straight section and the big jumps and the technical parts too! I think the current track has a good mixture of that.... as long as you keep that mixture it is ok with me what ever you change it to (or not)!!!

Also - maybe a lay-out that with moving one or two boards we would have a killer 12th scale track? Not sure if you can incorporate the two or not. Kind of hard to do I guess.

I am going to try to get out to your place Sunday afternoon - it will all depend on how my drive comming back from Charlotte, NC goes (taking Amanda back to school this weekend).

joel here's the lincoln i got. it has bad airbags in the rear but i got the conversion kit for it(coil springs) for $60.
