I guess that Scott hasn't put up the "Turn Left Here" sign yet??

Well Mike - you are in good company because Kenny did the same thing! Infact I think you were out there last weekend when we were all laughing about it!! Short term memory is a pain isn't it?

That's ok, when the rest of us do it you can rag on us then!

....hhmmmm the first time I run on that track I think I'll use Amanda's buggy....just in case!

ya atleast i wasn't the first one to do it and i'm sure i won't be the last . that little thing is tough though i was cooking when i hit it. all that broke was the arm and it popped off the turnbuckle.

Well - I think that my .5 is ready to be broken in ---- now all I have to do is get the starter box set up correctly.....doesn't seem like the opening in the chassis is wide enough though I'll have to look at Scotts to see how he has his set up - I think that we are using the same type starter box (the black ofna 10th scale box). Did you guys have to put a larger diameter flywheel on the .5??

I'll look at it all again tomorrow when I am more rested.

Mike -- I remember you telling me about that box. Do you have the model number? I think I saw it on line for like $39?? Single 540 motor and uses one 7.2v stick pack? I know that you said it turns over your picco with no problem -- I'll be looking at all of this again today. As I am thinking about my set-up I think that I am going to have to get a larger diameter flywheel - maybe my nova sits a little higher than the sh that was on there? I am going to try and make my bump box work as I really don't want to buy another bump box.......oh well it's only money right???

I think I may stop out at Scott's today even though the weather is crappy to look at his set-up again.

joel i'm not sure on the model # but i got it from a-main (the blue box). i have the stock jammin 12 not the picco and ya it crank's it over no problem. whats cool is it fits in my tool bag with the radio and fuel and tools so all i carry is the bag and the truggy. when are you working at the hobby shop? i'll bring it by so you can check it out.

hey Mike -- thanks for the offer but I stopped out at Scott's today (Sunday) and he helped me out. I think I have it all squared away now! Now all I need is some warm weather to run that thing! Now all I have to do for the .5 is paint the body and glue the tires.

I am really looking forward to racing this year. When I was at Scott's today I went over to the drivers stand and took a long look at the track -- I really like the lay-out! I think it is going to be a good year of racing!

Well -- we are having spaghetti and red wine for supper tonight.....good thing that the CORR site isn't up because I would probably have to visit the "RED RED WINE" thread!!!!

I bet you would.
I rigged up something to break in an engine in the workshop without dying of fumes and it worked great. 10ft of rubber hose out the door did the trick.
Got around 3 tanks through the new TTR which is around 45min to an hour on the bench.
Rebuilt the C6 with new TKO cheramic bearings and new Piston/Liner/Conrod for this season. It sucked dirt three times and it was overall in a sloppy condition. Strangely engough the crank-pin didn't wear at all so the crank is still good besides some scratches around the intake.

Sounds like you all have a great time with the .5 cars. It's very tempting to pick one up but I think I'll hold off.

CORR site is still down and I haven't heard anything yet. We'll see on Tuesday....

Scott, what's the plans for this year at the track with the lap counting system an all? A few races would be cool. I'll do better this year and show up more often, even if we're just downing a few cold ones and play around.
I'm doing the NRL thing at the Yard this year again. Join in, at least for just one race.

Christian --- the TTR you are breaking in -- is that the Thunder Tiger like you had before? Amanda's buggy needs a new engine and I am not sure what to put on her buggy for this year. As you know she has/had the TTR on her buggy and it ran very well at Scott's.

Yes it is. I had a new in box laying around the shop. I'll be running that at Scotts and save the RB for other races.
I like it alot.

I also picked up 3 Dynamite pipes for $33 each. It's the 007, 053 and 086 (I think)
