just another one of those flame threads.....i choose TNX coz thats the only truck i own.....and it works.

You will never hear me say anything bad about that truck because I have no experience with it, nor have I even seen one in person. Do you have any pics??

how i see it is this. what makes the all around best truck is

1) easy to work on
2) comes with cool features example, (hi/lo mach, jr xs3 , huge shocks, size matters, double servo steering)
3)durabilty-every truck had something that needs fixing so....(fix alum diff cases, a-arms, washer=bullet proof)
4) customer service- horizon hobby is awesome

i think its pretty obvious! dont you?

and to some extent noone can say a certain truck is faster than another. you shouldnt say my lst is faster or my savage is faster because it all comes down to tuning and what motor your running.

but all in all the LST is the all around best truck.

I have found it to be as durable as the savage and as quick if not quicker than the mt2 and no other monster keeps up with it

lmao the mammoth kills the lst in a straight line race evan a race with turns

and as for u revo family, sniff sniff i smell bull ****, with a more powerful moter say a .21 a mammoth would still kill it in a race and u no why a mammoth dosent wheelie, i mean i no its hard for people like u to under stand but look at the facts the mammoth is almost 2 feet long i dont think any single motor can make that think wheelie and thats a good thing cause why ur trucks wheelin the mammoth is about 50 feet ahead of u and thats why they were made it so long i dont no why u dis on the mammoth so much, when the truck is as good or ifnot better than a revo will ever be

The Mammoth won't wheelie because it is a BRICK ON WHEELS. My .23 powered Revo will already beat a Mammoth in a straight line, OR in a road course, and I haven't even re-geared it yet! If I geared my Revo to not wheelie and to actually go... there would be NO contest. The Revo STOCK is rated at 40+ ... the Mammoth STOCK is rated at 55 and accelerates to that rather slowly ... my Revo with the gears I have will go 50 and with the extra TQ/HP ... I get up to speed MUCH faster than a Mammoth. So, I guess in a 1/4 mile race... the Mammoth would win... but in a shorter race (100-150 ft) my Revo would win. It's this thing called POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO... gotta learn that. The 2.5r may be "underpowered" for a Mammoth, but in a 8-9lb truck... it's well-powered. Now, think about that ... if a .15 truck will do 40+ w/ about 1.3-1.6HP... what do you think a 2.5+ HP motor in the same truck will do?

I've seen a stock Mammoth VS. Stock Revo... the Mammoth won... but not by much... and half of that was because the driver decided to leave before the guy said "GO!" ... got a vid of it, but don't feel like converting it to digital.

I dont necessarily want to start up more arguements, but I guarantee, if you throw a 24.7 + 2lbs onto a Revo, It wont be able to keep up with a stock mammoth at all.

Its like comparing a S10 to a Excursion.

Why a Mammoth doesnt wheelie and why a Revo does:

Mammoth is 4 inchs longer
Mammoth is 2 lbs heavier
Mammoths tires are 3/4" taller, 1/2" wider, thicker rubber, thus they're heavier, and thus, less torque to the ground
Mammoths have low center of gravity because they are truggies
Truggies dont wheelie well

Revo is 4 inchs shorter than Mammoth
Revo's are 2lbs lighter than Mammoth
Revo's tires are much smaller, thus, it can put more torque to the ground
Revo's have high center of gravity, so they can wheelie easier

Wheelies = unused torque

OK, first off... why would anyone wanna pack on 2lbs to their truck..... that's like saying... I guarantee you that if you put a ton of bricks in the back of that truck, it will be slower than the empty one.... REALLY? Second... since when did 12-9=2? AND.. if you're comparing MY truck to a Mammoth... since when did 12-8=2? Where do you get your stats on the wheels/tires? The Revo wheels are 3.8" Tires are 5.75" ... one of the biggest wheels/tires that come on stock trucks. If you have thick tires, that's not my fault.... that's the Mammoth's engineer's fault. I can drop my COG to even lower than a Mammoth and STILL pull wheelies. What's your point? The fact is... the Mammoth is exactly that... It's a BRICK on wheels with a big engine and the right gearing to get it to 55. It TRULY is a MAMMOTH. The reason a Mammoth can't wheelie is #1 - it's too dang heavy... #2 it's been geared for top-end speed.... and just doesn't have the torque to get it to wheelie. It's not my fault that XTM made them that way. I just prefer the Revo. The fact is... I was asking how the 2.5r in the Revo was underpowered... and somehow you twisted it to talk about the Mammoth vs. Revo. Good grief, let's get off this subject PLEASE.

Exactly!

TNXs and REVOs are the ONLY trucks that win major races, therefore, TNXs and REVOs are at the top of the list of best MT's on the market.

Sorry but LSTs are trash and all you nut-swingers just need to get over it. You bought a POS truck w/ wang sized shocks and nice radio gear. I truly am sorry for you

Sounds like you are the nut swinger. How many major races has YOUR TNX won? Stop swinging on the nuts of the TNX drivers that have won. Their success does not mean everyone who buys a TNX will automatically win every race they enter. This topic is "Your favorite truck" not which one you don't like. I think you saw the poll results having 5 measly votes for the TNX and 24 for the LST and got pissed. I also think there are a few more reasons you hate the LST:
1. It's to much truck for you to handle.
2. You probly can't afford one.
3. Your TNX is constanly losing to an LST

As for you mentioning the wang size shocks. DO you have wang envy? ScMc=itty bitty wang

first of all id like to see that video cause i bet ur definition of "not by much" is 50 feet, the mammoth is hands down faster than the revo and the revo is more durable STOCK, now with 130 doller upgrades for the mammoth and it will be more durable than the revo, now ull have to get about 230 dollers to make the revo as fast as the mammoth, now stop ur b!tchen and look at the facts the mammoth is an all around better truck than the revo. and if u gear the revo higher so it ACTUALLY can beat a mammoth ull become alot slower on the start. u need to stop dising the mammoth and relize that ur revo isnt the best truck on the market.

This is my first post here. I have been reading more and more, trying to decide on what MT to buy. ScMc do you have any pics of your truck. I am heading off to check out the races today. This will be the first time I have seen the new MT’s. I am not an avid racer but I do like to have fun with the trucks. I am leaning towards the LST
