Status: offline 		Is there a scale used in plane building to tell what size of size of engine is needed to the amount the plane weighs?I'm new at this and I thought i should find out first.I have plans for a soda bottle plane and I wanted to substitute the soda bottle for a real fusalage. Can anyone tell me a good place to find out about basic plane building and servo placement and hook-up.I have a good .049 engine and I want to build something fairly easy to use this engine on.I have been doing woodworking for 10 years and am looking for something new to build and fly .Thanks

Status: offline 		Tower hobbies has a lot of books about that stuff. Harry Higley also has books about building and finishing which Tower Hobbies sells. go to towerhobbies.com or send for a catolouge. Herr makes .049 kits which you can find at iflyherr.com.
i've never built a plane. mine were arfs or already built but i hope this helps.
