As some of you may know, Last winter I gave away my 11 yr old GP Skybolt in the "Pay it Forward" thread. Well, I kept saying that I missed it and would replace it some day.

Last weekend I was at my LHS and just as I was leaving I noticed a NIB Skybolt on sale for $99 - I couldn't resist.

So now I have next winter's project lined up.

Now as for a color scheme, I wanted something different, but not too radical or difficult to cover.

Here's my first Idea

Speaking of the new workshop, are you ready to cry? Here's the basement layout of the house we close on tomorrow.

Cheri said I can have the ENTIRE downstairs area (Of course, I had to relinquish the entire upstairs - except the Kitchen - But it was worth it! )

Still no plans as to where to put the benches etc, but I do know that eventually I will join shops 2 and 3 with a set of double doors.

My guess is Cheri would rip him to shreads if Ken tried to make her move out.

I'll live in the basement. You can make shop #3 a painting room or even knock out the wall if it isn't structural. Very nice indeed. Paint me green with envy. Will you be able to get big stuff up and out the stairwells OK?

I don't have TOO much big stuff, but it will go up the stairs.

Plans right now are to make #3 a "Dirty" shop (Power tools, cutting, sanding, etc) while #2 will be a "Clean" Shop (assembling ARF's for reviews, Shooting photos for reviews etc. ) My computer may go in there too.

Still unsure about #1. It is by far the biggest, but after a dirty shop and a clean shop, what else do you need?
