Hey Chevelle,

What engine are you running in that beautiful Aeromaster?

I'm trying to decide on an OS61 or a tower hobbies 75 or a four stroke that'll fit without too much mod to the cowl and mounts.

Hows about a shot of the front and how you rigged the engine of your choice?

My $.02 worth or IMHO the magic extra or UCD .46 ounce for ounce the most fun I ever had. Had to go to much bigger airplanes to get any more of a rush out of flying. Buld them light, over power slightly and let em rip. Both can fun-fly, 3D, and start learning patterns easily when set up and trimmed properly.

My choice is Joe Bridi's "Kaos." Been around forever, not too big or too small, still available. Excellent flier, and everyone who tries it likes it.

Kaos. The only answer.

Bill.

I'll second that! Actually any good pattern plane is a good sport plane.

A gentleman at our club invited me to fly his Kaos and handed me the Xmitter while the plane was in the air. What a sweet flying plane! Slow rolls, knife edge, 4-point rolls, they were so easy to do when you don't have to use a lot of top rudder and deal with a lot of yaw-roll and yaw-pitch coupling.

Why on earth would anyone want to compete in precision aerobatics using a plane that was difficult to fly?

My vote is deffinately the KAOS40. This has my first low wing model back in 1980 powered by an Enya 45X something. Over the years I have flown Pattern, scale, slope soarers etc. But I have always kept a Kaos40 in my collection ready to go. I have built plenty as I fly them hard with no fear and when worst comes to worst I can scratch build one in two weeks. The current one is powered by a OS46LA. Cheap and reliable.

Balsa USA Smoothie had to be one of my favorites. Next would be either the 40 or 60 size Ultra Sport.

Hi Ken. Where do you fly in Lawton? I live in Wichita Falls and get up there once in awhile. I have an uncle and a couple cousins there. Do you guys still have a club there?
