Gotta be the Ugly Stick.
Possibly the Senior Falcon.
One of these in my hangar at all times.
Any other candidates?
Mike

The SuperSportster 90/1.20 from Great Planes is my vote. It's a kit that is no longer made. the SS.60 is close.

My two cents.......back in the day, the CG Falcon 56, now, the GP easy sport 40 - probably the most fun I've had with at the field...that is until 'ol dumb thumbs rekitted the plane....

Can't be the "Sticks" - too many variants, each one has to be considered separately.

My choice is Joe Bridi's "Kaos." Been around forever, not too big or too small, still available. Excellent flier, and everyone who tries it likes it.

Kaos. The only answer.

Bill.

Nice Aeromaster! Can't argue against anything Lou Andrews designed. You like the Sportster designs? Just a repackaged Andrews Trainermaster, though done a lot heavier for a simple build. A lot of the Vintage R/C designs from the 60's are fantastic sport flyiers. Really, in thinking about it, the problem with a lot of today's designs is LITE-PLY. It weighs a ton, and is about as strong as a cardboard box that was left out in the rain. Remember when they used to say "balsa flys better"?
