Status: offline 		I was wondering if the radio trainer option is universal to all radios. I have a futaba skysport4 and I want to get an eclipse 7 and I want to train my friends on the futaba.

Status: offline 		Airtronics and Futaba are not compatible.
To my knowledge, the only brands that are compatible to a greater degree are Futaba and Hitec. The trainer feature works with both, either way.

Status: offline 		If you get the Eclipse Hitec transmitter, it is compatible with all brands of FM receivers except for PCM types, i.e. you can switch to either positive (Airtronics and JR) or negative shift (Futaba and Hitec). I do believe you have to use a Hitec trainer cord between the Futba and Hitec though, not a Futaba trainer cord. I don't think you can connect between the Eclipse and Airtronics and definately not the JR.
