Hi Folks,

I have encountered one problem on practically all motor planes which come along with AFPD. For level flight beyond half throttle and up I have to trim elevator up - otherwise the planes dive down to some degree or the other. The elevator up trim then causes the planes to baloon skywards if I throttle down, especially if I pull the throttle back quickly. In real life this reaction would mean to me that the engine's down thrust is to big. So I tried to resolve the problem by adjusting the engine's down thrust in the set up menu, bringing it up. To my surprise this did not help.

Any suggestions?

Winrich

I have had this problem a few times, cured it by just recalibrating to my Transmitter. Sometimes takes a couple of calibrations but fixed the problem. I think its possibly down to the software calibration routine not picking up full stick movement occasionally.

Never had the ballooning when throttling back, but then again have not trimmed it out just flown untill I recalibrate.

Hi Deyrick,

Thank you for your reply! I went through the calibrate menue several times. To my regret, it did not help. But when watching very closely I noted that the elevator lever did move a bit along when I moved the throttle stick. In the end I found that for some strange reason which I can not recall I had a mixer set in my TX. After deleting the mixer everthing works fine now.

So thank you for the tip. Otherwise I would not have checked the control levers that closely.

Regards

Winrich
