Apology accepted.

Remember, you began the whole sharing of resumes thing....

Man, you guys should try discussing real issues instead of inventing conspiracies and making personal attacks.

I'm having trouble with the personal attacks thing -- where? -- other than the one that you just launched against us "guys"

God, will this never end? I see it way too much and as a Canadian modeler I find it quite embarrassing I subscribed to RCC not long ago and there are a fine group of fellows and gals there but I'm starting to see the same personal stuff there. If people have issues with each other for God's sake keep it private, send each other pm's. Dont put it in a public forum. Berta has it right. Most of us learned this stuff soon after our Mum's decided we could get on the school bus by ourselves. I vote to kill this forum and hopefully that will help limit the embarrassment to just Canadians on Canadian sites.

lol..

........I think we have kinda gotten past this. You may have noticed that this thread was slippin a way down low..........till now.

Besides, as Canadians, with our current federal government, we have plenty of "real life issues" to be embarrassed about without getting too excited about model airplane stuff.

...."move along, nothing to see here"

...I doubt it.

Besides, any of us, including you, who partake in this hobby, according to my wife, all into the catagory of;

"Never Grown up"

......isn't that part of the beauty of this wonderful pastime?

If I recall correctly, the issue was French translation, and MAAC has addressed that problem..... an expensive fix for a special interest group I might add but, only to draw attention to the fact that there are many special interest groups....

Um, actually as a not for profit association operating nationally we coudl very easily be REQUIRED to provide all documents and all comminucations in both official languages to the members ... and we are far from being there yet. As it stands teh francophone members are being asked to help with document translations to help defray some of the costs.
The issue has nothing to do with special interest groups and everyting to do with the official languages act.
