Actually he only has one wing, the bottom one. Unless he has bkoken it in half. He has a right and left "side" to his bottom wing.

A few weeks ago, someone was talking about doing something different with a kit. I made the suggestion that the member do a 4* and make it a bipe. Maybe Joe saw that and secretly bought a wing kit.

R T W - My opinion (worth 3 cents today due to inflation) is that you should start your own thread. We'd be happy to read it and help if you ask but let's leave this one "pure" if ya know what I mean.

RTW, Sounds good! Seen a few flying, but never seen one built. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Mountaineer, anything new on the 4*? Got the weight(s) figured out?
(Still laughing about the wing thing )

I've got everything balanced out...so that problem is solved. However, another one has crept up.

I'm getting bubbles in my fuel line. I've got an inline fuel filter on the line, the tank is well packed in foam, the prop is balanced....I can't think of anyting else to do to fix this problem. You guys have any ideas?

Here are some pics of my fuel tank install for reference.

Are they affecting the running of the motor in flight. Sometimes you get more vibration/shaking on the ground than in the air, especially with 4 strokes. If the engine is OK in flight, I wouldn't worry about it.

I didn't notice an issue with it during the maiden, although I never really ran it at full throttle during the maiden either, and that is when the bubbles seem to impact the running of the engine the most.

I had a fairly rich setting, and this afternoon, was attempting to lean it out a bit, but I couldn't get a consistent tach reading on it because of the bubbles would cause it to lean out and the RPM would fluctuate at full throttle.

I don't know. I have to leave work now, I'll think about this tonight and maybe come up with some ideas. Maybe some of the others can help in the mean time. I'll check with you in the morning.

Have you considered using soft mounts for the engine?

Edit:
Dang. They're out of stock at the moment, check LHS maybe...?
