Dear Mike,

JR has ever been a leader in R/C radio technology.X3810,PCM 10S, PCM 9X II all are marvels of technology. When are we gonna see a MZ 14 Killer ? Will JR be going for 15 channels? or what else killer features they will be putting in.

I dont have any details to share. JR is of course not ignoring the 14MZ either. Just want to be sure what they do next is the best foot forward.

They already have a answer it is the 10X,, 14MZ is a money radio, you can go to the field and look pretty,,,that is the advantage, OH yeah and you can take a picture of your model too

The 10x is Jr's answer to the 9Z.

I don't like getting into these sorts of discussions.. but I wonder how many people buy a given radio just to have the high end radio.

Ask yourself.. Do you USE the features of the radio you have, or do you just have it to tell people you have it.

I personally use my 9303 for just about everything these days except my jets that NEED 10 channels.

I use the 9C for everything. It does more than I need and I couldn't be happier, except when someone who has a 10x is trying to rub it in that he has 10 channels and I only have 9. When that happens I can counter with "Futaba has 4 more channels than any Junk Radio."

Personally I fly Futaba because they donated a 7CAP to my club. Horizon didn't even bother because "it isn't their policy". The 7Cap was raffled off and made a ton of money to be put to use for VRCFC's 22'nd Annual Ray Gordon Memorial Jumbo Fly-in

I agree Doug, I am just not tapping out my 9C and looking to the light side for possibilities. 9303 looks good and so does 10x. The 14mz does not suit me for a number of reasons. 9Z?

I have both 10x and 9303
The feature which I like best about these is the instant access to flight controls .
For example
count nunber of steps to get to the adjustment pages for aileron /elev and rudder .
JR10--- turn on radio-hit ENTER- poke in #13- you are there for ail expo/dual rates.-turn pages for elev/rudd.
9303---turn on radio-hit enter- you are there!
How does that work?
On the 9303 --the last functions you worked with -- will be the first thing brought up when hitting ENTER (not LIST)
Advantage ?
At the field -lets say you are again, fine tuning any of the 3 flight functions ail-elev-rudd.
After setting up say--elevator expo- you simply hit ENTER or turn off the radio till you are ready to fly.
Now go fly -
Let's say the expo was not quite right -
just hit ENTER- bingo-you are right back at the page you last worked with.
Try that on other radios ---
I did a comparison "poke" on the new Futaba - lovely radio, however ------------------.

If you think that's easy, try the 9C. It's easier. You'll be amazed. It's a great radio.

Then why did you write that the 9303 was better?
