Hey Rich, F-20 John here, Ive got one of these and I have completley stripped it down and i'm going to glass it and finish it the 2-tone gray. I'm going to put a DUB 90LX in it . I just finished sheeting the open bays in the wing. I talked to Ron P on Sun and he told me about yours. I'm sure yours will come out Great! Just like you I can't leave any thing alone it can always be better stronger and FAAAASTER. Hope to hear from you, if you dont have my number you can get it from Ron

Hey dude! Its a nice plane..... but you said it... it is hard to leave this one alone... I ended up returning 2 or 3 kits before I kept the one I have.... Overall a great plane... but lots of flaws and QC issues.... Definately beats building one... Just got my 90L's back from Jett with new sealed front bearings.
I am going for the lite/sport F-16 ....stock weight is over 10 Lbs. I am using the stock gear with one retract servo w/4 servos in the tail.... trying to keep the weight down.
U gonna be at the BBQ? Gonna try to have the Flanker there!

I also noticed that the flat nose area that you match up with the spinner back plate is not totally flat and it is hard to get a consistant spinner-to-fuselage gap unless you sand the nose flat first.... you should do that since you are re-finishing the whole thing!

looks sweet dude! Cant wait to see the finished product. We are going to have a squadron of these things out there! Cermark told Steve that Bobs has sold more that any other shop.... thats my fault I think!
I may need to get an 90LX now! Actually... I noticed that the prop clearance with a 12" is minimal especially on grass... may have to go 11"

Rich, I know what your'e saying about the QC. I had to send my first one back to cermark. The good thing about stripping it down is I can fix the flaws. Ive got my wings so they mate up perfectly to the fuse, and i'm going to extend the nose to fit the spinner(not very good right now). When is the BBQ, I will bring out my F-20 and possibly my P-38. Your'e Flanker looks awsome. I also saw the ones one there web site , thats pretty cool!
Good to hear from you John
