Status: offline 		There are indeed two C-17 Globemaster models this side of the pond, Davie Matthews 1/10 scale version in Ireland, and my 1/9 scale version in the UK. I believe Davie's model has not yet flown, but my model has completed nearly twenty flights now, with the first test flight being in October 2003.

There is a short amount of video at the end of a video report from the UK 2004 Top Gun event at Rougham, the website address is www.felixstowetv.co.uk/html/features.html then click on the Top Gun Link. This is the model that is currently for sale, as I need the space for the next large project.

You were correct!

The original link that coronabob started the thread with is for the Davie Matthews 1/10 scale version in Ireland, which has not flown yet. Davie was planning to bring the Big Grey Cloud to the states for some airshows. I sure hope he does !!!
