its tmaxx baby yea!

it needs to be beefy, they get some hammer... i was looking at prices for the alloy hubs today actually, my plastic ones have a bit of play in them - slight wobble on the wheels. the extra weight wont hurt 30 quid for 4 tho, but integy do some nice ones too...

What about these bad boys? Got their titanium engine plate for the Savage and the quality is excellent. http://www.hcrracing.com/product/trx/te-maxx/0321/silver.jpg
The Unlimited Engineering ones offer more adjustability but at $33 each, they may be a bit O.T.T.!

RPM would be the ones to go for. I have read a few stories about the GPM stuff being a bit on the soft side! That said though, they are probably all made by the same people anyway. Whatever you choose mate, the truck is looking great, got some GS buggy shocks for mine and will be heading for the beach tomorrow, weather permitting.

tape that hole up under the spurs then mate - the sand will kill those gears within a few tanks.

trust me on that one! try and try to stay off the loose dry stuff too - its a killer on the gears... bloody good fun tho...

forgot - u got any pics of the shock setup? also i found this spring chart for 1/8 shocks - might be of some use to u...

Yeah, I know that from experience. Last beach trip ground my clutch bell gears down within three tanks! That was totally on the soft stuff though, its just impossible to resist those dunes! Thanks for that link mate, I have several options for the setup. I managed to win a set of option springs from ebay and can switch between loads of different combos. I'll post some pics up tomorrow.

They are the GS ones. Part numbers GS68020 for the mini ones, GS68022 for the fronts, GS68024 for the rears. Front ones are the most useful to the CEN but the little stubby ones do give a bit of extra tunability. £12.85 a set from DMS. I'll go and get some pics of the CEN with the shocks on and post them up in a bit.

Here you go mate, GS pro buggy front shocks with included shock boots (to keep the sand off!) Last pic is a comparison to the CEN aluminum upgrade ones.

Oh aye, very suave me you know! They are the buisness though. The shocks are really well made and the springs allow it to sit just where you want it to without having to use spacers. The ones on it at the moment are soft enough to allow the chassis to slap but the shocks have got 40wt in them so they are just right for the arms level stance that I reckon gives the CEN its best handling. Well worth a look see.

Well the beach session was postponed due to inclement weather. Driving rain and snow to be exact. Its alright though, I got a Savage ready for flea bay and picked up a second GS Storm. This will be my winter project. Gonna try to hybrid the Savage and the new Storm. Might call it H-pigs. (kidding!)
The JT chassis is sitting with a complete rear diff assembly, brake seat and rear battery box waiting for a 2wd front bulkhead to come up on ebay. It will be a single speed 2wd racer when its finished but that looks a LONG way off! In the mean time the stock chassis is coping very well and the New Era Roll cage makes it a much more sensible option for thrashing around, especially now the ground is pretty well frozen.
