Little bit disappointed here. Tried painting the cowling twice, and it won't stick. I'm using the ABS one, and it's crap. I'll have to order the f'glass parts to make the model look finished. Other than that, it's ready to fly. CG is aft of the spar with no fuel. Weight is between 10 and 11 pounds. I haven't got an accurate weight yet, just the bathroom scale. This model has been the biggest challenge to me ever. Parts don't fit like they should, and there are some weird designs in this kit. I sure hope it flies good, and that I never crash it, because I'd never build another one. Sure does look good, though!

Well Guys After a rainy evening here is mine. Finished up some of the covering. I have to attach the Canopy(now that it is finished), I have to run the throttle Control, Tune up the engine, and Glue one side of all the hinges. Balance and she will be ready. Should be ready VERY soon. Plan on working the rest of the night and tomorrow on it. Let me know what you think.

Here's one more in the light. By the way, Ballistic, that's an interesting color scheme. Looks like a lot of thought went into it. I went for simple and easy to see on mine. After this build, I'm not sure if I'm up to doing another one. That $300 for the ARF sounds pretty good to me right now. I know I have much more than that in this one. I do think this one is built stronger than the arf.

You guys, your planes look awesome, very nice. I am a bit worried now LOL.
Just took delivery of my 2006 1100 Classic Cruiser, priority's have shifted just a hair

As soon as it stops snowing, weather took a large dive, I will get a picture or two.

Ballistic:
Excellent job on the placing of those lines, very unique, I am afraid I will have to copy that one day

Yes, it won't be too long and the mower will be coming out of the shed. Been way too windy for any flying yet this year. Can't wait to see what the Sukhoi does in the air.
