Does anyone have any opinions of this one? I was thinking about getting one. First let me say I am a kit or plans builder at heart, never owned an ARF before. Right now I am in the mood for something to bang around. All my current projects are taking up too much time. I want a funfly/3D capable machine and this might be it.

I was planning on putting a Magnum .75 2-stroke in it. I know it calls for a .46-.53 2-stroke or a .61 4-stroke, but the .75 is what I have sitting on my work bench. It is only 5 ounces more than the 4-stroke.

So, how does it fly? Is it worth the $180 they want for it? Is it really 3D capable out of the box or do you need to modify things? How is the quality and such? Any information is appreciated...

Almost finished with putting one together. Using the Magnum 61 4-stroke. I have seen one fly already and it looks like a model that will fly as hot as you might want it. It will 3D as claimed and the manual contains control surface adjustments for it. Should have mine ready this weekend. Goes together fairly well; make sure you beef-up the landing gear area in front of the wing.

This is a great kick it around in the airplane. Most definitely capable of all 3D. You name it, Freestyle is ready willing and able... Knifedge flight is unbelievable.

I have mine setup with a Saito 91, HItec Digitals on rudder and elevator, JR midsize 9411 Digitals on ailerons and throttle.

I replaced the nylon horns with small Rocket City hardware. 3 oz. lead in the tail. Other than that completely stock... I'd estimate at least 50 flights thus far no problems, and we abuse this thing...

Best bang for the buck I have got in a long time...

Thanks for the information guys. I really appreciate it. I will be getting one soon. Hopefully the .75 won't add too much weight, but with 700 square inches of wing, I figure it would handle it better than the others. Thanks again,

-Scott-
