Hey Cen racing I was wondering if I could do it without the reciver. I lost my reciever a long time ago when it broke on me and I've been using the radio out a diff. truck. I have a mirage 3 radio that I could send in.

We requied the CEN receiver to be returned with the CEN radio. Give our technician a call, maybe they can work something out with you.

Honestly, Saber isnt a CEN radio, you can tell because there is no CEN logo on it. But since it is included with our R/C KIt in Europe, go ahead and send it in.

Ok so I heard back from cen and they told me beings I don't have the receiver I can just send an extra $10. I don't really see why beings they are going to be destroyed anyway, but I guess it's still a good deal so I'll end up doing it. The guy is still saying I have to pay shipping back which is $5. Didn't someone say cen pays the shipping back. Is their a form we have to fill out when we send it in, is it the same one as is linked in this post.

CEN Racing, do you know if they are sending 27 or 75 MHz FM radios and receivers?

Unfortunelly, i wont be able to tell you. You can specify the frequency (like 27band..etc) on the radio swap form, however, if that particular frequency is not available, you will have to wait.

PJ, a word of caution here. In the UK 75mhz is a military frequency and it is therefore not permitted to use this band for any other purposes. I would have thought that the tx would be held at customs and not released if CEN send you one that is 75mhz. See if you can ensure they send you a 27mhz one.

Got my new radio and receiver today. Thanks CEN. They even sent me the frequency I asked for. Could be coincidence, but I believe it's the great customer service!
