ORIGINAL: Wild_CCR Hi smoore, I worded that a little funny. I meant: "a statement, not a question" from the wife. Along the lines of " you better not be doing what I think your doing or your dead!" but honey, those scratches will buff right out, look, see this, they come right...oh oh sorry Repairs looking great, nicely done. Fill and sand the joints nice & smooth. The covering tends to show up all the seams and repair areas if not really smooth or if gaps, seams are left open. I understood ... "But I think as of today I will not have to worry about question/statements agian for a while... The wifes gone and all my planes are back to flyable status!!!! Looks like a great weekend ahead" More directly translated means.. The wife has moved out and is filing for divorce.. Ill do whatever I want to do wherever I want to do it... No more BS from her... and as a stress reducer... all the planes are flyable.... great weekend = fly for 2 days and not have to listen to wife cry about not my not doing what she wants me to do. Thats the smell of freedom boys... FREEDOM! Back to the plane... what shoul I use for filling the gaps and smoothing? Toothpast would fill, but wont sand well. Spackle might work.. or bondo.. Im sure there is a special high dollar product out there thats made for this
