Not sure I have the spelling right on this but I found some 33% car fuel in a hobby shop the guy was trying to get rid of, it was in metal cans. He thought it was the same as heli fuel but I don't think he realy knew. Can anyone identify this fuel and know if it would be OK for YS 4 stroke engines? I could not find a web site for it.

Traxxas makes 33% nitro fuel designed for use in on-road vehicles. It comes in metal cans. Black and red design, and some yellow - I believe.

It is comparable to dozens of other makes of fuels used by monster truck owners in terms of oil blend and %. It has around 14% oil...not less than 12, and no more than 16%.

I have no experience with 4-stroke motors. I just wanted to let you know you found Traxxas fuel. Traxxas is a leading Mfgr of nitro products (boats, trucks, cars.).

yeah, its Traxxas 33%... excellent fuel... but I would never put it in a heli... not the right blend... wouldn't kill your heli but there are definitely better things to put in there!

With only 14% oil VS 22 to 25% oil, it just might kill your heli. Heli's will run hot without this extra oil. They just might fry.
