check if theres enough room there, between the engine and body posts to fit a rear exhaust pipe.

MWSTRETCH your welcome. Be perpared that car will be like a whole new deal once you take out the restrictor. You might want to run the older body till you get a handle on it.

I would go with the tc4 electric, if you plan on drifting. A nitro car isn't designed to run the way a electric driting car works. The nitro engine is different from an electric motor.

Best upgrades for the car are anything that will lighten it, in addition to a good exhaust.

To get more speed and smooth torque band, portmatch the heaader to the ehxaust port. Add the RPM-tuned pipe.

Lighter parts include:

alum screws

MIP lightweight clutch bell

Ti tie rods, Ti hinge pins

graphite suspension upgrades (add rigidity)

Ti shock mounts

Lo-pro servos (futaba s9550)

alum outdrives/spool (strength)

Mip axles (strength)

alum pivot balls

3m chassis (strength/rigidity)

RPM ballcups

A tc4 electric holds the record of 147MPH! It was highly moded but speed is gained with the gear ratios between the spear gear and the pinion gear and the turns of the motor the lower the turns the faster the motor.

9 turn motor or brushless with the right pinion gear and spur gear 60mph. the main difference between electric and nitro is electric is now nitro has to build up and shift gears.
