I am looking to get into the sport of R/C.
I am looking for the best Truck to get and I see that I have a few options.

rc10gt Team Factory
Nitro Evader
HBi Savage
Losi Lst

The cost isnt holding me back, I want to know which truck has the best fun factor.
My driving style is fast and crazy, some jumps ect..

What is better 4wd or 2wd?

I have just had a new R/c track put in my area, which truck offers great competitveness, upgrades something that I can race and have fun in my yard?

If these trucks I have listed are not the best option please let me know. I want to start out with something that I will enjoy.
Any other tips, comments suggestions for a newcomer would be helpful.

Well it depends on what you are going to use your truck for. 2wd stadium trucks are supposed to be better for racing, but 4x4's are supposed to be better for bashing. I've heard good things about the trucks you listed, so in the end it'll come down to mostly what you want and what you want to do with it.

my brother is 13 and he got a nitro rustler, he really liked it. It feels good when you get your first nitro.

Since you are new to rc I wouldnt recommend getting a kit as your first car so that would throw out the rc10gt. If you could afford the losi lst that would be a good choice if you went with a monster truck. If you stuck with stadiums I would recommend one of the following as your first car:
Hpi nitro rush
Duratrax evader
losi xxx-nt rtr2

If you went with a stadium and later on wanted to get into racing I would than recommend the factory team rc10gt or the xxx-nt adam drake2 when you get more expierenced.

Don't rush into anything. Go look at the hobby stores. See what you like the look of. I've got a 777 Sp1 and a XXX-NT. The 777 is indestructible but expensive. XXX and other stadium trucks are not that tough but are much more inexpensive. Don't get a vehicle with a pull start. They break and will keep you from driving your new vehicle. You could get a Ofna Hyper 7 RTR that comes with a starter box for a little over $400. A Revo would cost about the same. Personally I like the looks of the Revo and want one bad! Before delving into the LST I would go scope out the MT forum on this site for issues. Engines have problems. A-arms have problems. Diff cases have probs. Not that any vehicle won't but you don't want to buy a car and have the engine be toast and have to wait because Horizon is out of stock on them due to problems. I like my XXX but it isn't a basher and think you will be dissappointed in it for that. Also look at parts cost. My 777 parts are twice as much as parts for the X or Revo for that matter. I look on ebay a lot and price them out.

Thats a load of s h i t. Pullstarts are very convenient for bashers, and uh.....what piece of s h i t engines are you talking about??? If you use your bicep to start it, rather than your whole body (like you'd start a lawn mower) they last literally forever. And if the spring does break eventually....woopty doo! a whole $15 for a new starte with spring!...

If you're wanting to race I would check out your track first and see what's most common there. Wouldn't be much fun after all to be the only MT in a field of STs or vice versa. If that's not an issue then I would go with an MT, honestly. I'd have to say my LST is a heck of a lot more fun to drive generally, than my GT.

If you have the money I go with the LST. The radio is light years ahead of what you'd get with the Savage. Other than that, they each have a few poisitive and negative points, but they're both great trucks.

Well, it sure is one great begginer truck. Its very easy to work on compared to all the others and has loads of upgrades if needed.

here is my experianced oppinion... get the LST if you have the money, that truck owns. if you want to flat out bash, brutality, through off cliff crap, then get the savage. if you want a small little fast ass thingy, get a jato (although its not legal for races). otherwise, if you want a racing truck, revo. but over all, the LST wins, i would have bought one, but not enough money. too expensive.
