The Seafury video on youtube was shot last March in Phoenix. I won the US Scale Asters with it in 2006 in Muncie and 3rd at Top Gun. The Seafury is 101 inches, with the 250 radial, 32X14 prop, Sierra Precision landing gear. Originally had a 10 ch Airtronics Infinity radio, but I am going to switch it to a 14 ch Futaba.

I built a Royal .60 size Corsair in 1976.
I have a ton of RCM magazines, but I keep having a problem downloading the covers on this site.

Here is the web site of the RC club in Aurora Colorado. I have been a member since 1967.

Brian, I really appreciate the looks and sound of that Sea Fury on video. I hope many will look at that and be inspired! Your link to your club confirms what I found last summer fooling around with websites for local clubs. I can't wait to see some of your work in person (hopefully). I hope it is okay to get off topic on threads occasionally, and beg pardon to all. Geez, if all the younger generation could experience one of these great creations, I would have no fear for the future of the hobby.

Bob Yeager,

In reply to your earlier message, no, I don't think that Gillian had ever been published before...

But, I have a question.... do the two girls in the photos below seem to be identical? They were published on consecutive months in RCM.

Hmmmmm, does anyone have an opinion???

Yes, not a problem as far as I see...
I take a few months of that...

Well, y'know Paul,

They could just be identical twins... one for each of us. Ya think????

And if you look closely (yup, look as closely as you like) I think that the twins are wearing the same clothes...

I just checked the website, and it doesn't appear that this was a construction project..

I was thumbing through some of my old back issues, and I think you will agree that not all of the RCM's (aka Really Cute Models ) were only on the covers....

Swim, anyone????
