Status: offline 		Rolling to inverted is much easier than fliping forward or backward. It rolls much faster to the right than it does to the left. 3 mistakes high and punch the positive cyclic then perform the roll and smooth it out to negative cyclic as it gets inverted. Best way to do it.

If you must flip it the heli seems to go forward easier than it does backwards.

I've seen the vids done by RCU at the Micro Heli Championships, but I want to see some vids of people going inverted that aren't pro pilots.

Status: offline 		The roll started above the housetops, to my rear....you cant tell it but the helicopter isnt quite inverted. Its actually at about 30 degrees. It was getting so low, I shoved reverse pitch in it, and it shot off towards that tree you see in the pic. I managed to roll it back over right side up, and then shortly there after I tried a forward flip, and planted it in the yard across the street.

Status: offline 		I think there is a video on the Horizon website that shows them rolling it over inverted. You'll need lots of altitude and plenty of space the first time you try it.

The new bell/hiller head will help ALOT if they ever release it.

Status: offline 		In my opinion, much better. It responds a bit quicker to inputs, which helped me. I was always over-doing it with the input because there was that delayed reaction. Now, when I input it responds almost immediately.

Status: offline 		I bought the Futaba 7C from AllERc. It is an amazing TX. Almost all of the functionality of the 9C only without 2 channels. AllERC sells just the TX for $149 for the airplane version. There are 2 versions. 1 for heli's and one for airplanes. The heli one is $169. The only differences between the 2 are the switch layout, heli one has a non-ratcheted throttle, and the default model type for the heli one is a heli instead of a plane. Otherwise they are exactly the same transmitters with the exact same software only different defaults. Why the heli one is more I don't know. I highly recommend this TX.

In order to use it with the Blade's 4-in-1 you must use a Futaba Short crystal. It's single conversion on the channel that the transmitter is on. I have mine working on channel 43 which is what I use with my planes as well. Works wonderfully. If you get the 7C I have the entire programming for it for the blade posted in numerous places here and on rcgroups.

Status: offline 		Have a question for you fellow CP owners. I purchased two blade cp's and they both have been piles of S?it. One i have to send back to horizon the other seems to have a mind of its own. No matter what i do i cant get the thing to just hover without tons of trimming or tail input. Took the thing outside and the stupid cheep tail rotor broke well you can imagine how well it flew then. Just pretty frustrated after all this time and money they are just piles of fing crap. Has anyone seem to struggle with there setup. I think im done with electric all my experience have been pretty bad. :-/

Status: offline 		Phenom, not to sound rude, but I think you may need to exercise a little more patience. One of the first things the manual recommends is to work out your control inputs, and then to tune the response of the heli by adjusting the trim pots on the 4-in-1. Mine was all over the place as well - however with "patience" and trial and error I have the thing locked in and I love to fly it. It took me all of 10 minutes to get mine dialed in the first time, and then with each upgrade of blades (I'm on Carbons now) I had to do more fine tuning. I had even more fine tuning to do when I went to my Futaba radio over the stock unit. Trimming and tweaking helicopters is part of the package. The surprising thing about these for their price is the fact that you get a helicopter that has had the CCPM mix already configured for you - you don't have to deal with that, only minor trimming.

No offense, but if you think these are difficult to tune and trim I'd suggest staying away from the more complex birds. The only thing they have going for them - and this is AFTER you have gone through the pain of setting them up - is the heading hold gyro and potentially more stability as they are larger.

I think if you take the time and exercise enough patience to get yours in trim you will really enjoy flying it. Just my .02.

Status: offline 		I agree with what maxim said. Horizon wouldnt have sold thousands if they were junk.

Best thing you may want to do is find a hobbyshop or a heli guy that will help you. This is my 1st heli and they are complex, but when I had someone show/help me , setup and fine tune. I love mine, just flew mine outside without the training gear. No crashes and lots of fun. I know it can be agrevating just find some help.

Upgrades, my LHS had one of the new aluminum swash plates. I wonder when the Bell-hiller will be available from Horizon. I think that may be the biggest "bang for the buck" upgrade.

Status: offline 		Question to anyone.... What exactly does the Bell Hiller System provide for the BCP besides extra weight issues... I wonder...With that aluminum swashplate, bell-hiller system and a possible aluminum airframe (upgrade) and even maybe a CNC Head this electric mini helicopter would be a flying BRICK.....
I know someone has had the money to try out the whole deal.... If someone has really tried this setup please inform us all on how flight performance is effected by the extra weight...
