Hi, Seb. I'm glad that you got yours. The extra displacement would have been nice.

When I get in the mood to buy something, especially after years and years of anticipation...

Yup! camcorder is sitting awaiting the call to arms ( I even ordered a new larger capacity batt pack for it as the old one was a bit small). I doubt that i will get to start it for a while now, as the ignitor setup is coming from the States and may not arrive until late this week and I am off to New Zealand for two weeks on Saturday. Oh well! At least i will have something to look forward to after the holiday.

Which airplane is this? I've seen it before and probably knew its name at one time, but...

Who offers it as kit or ARF? TIA

Ed, it's an AERO A102, the model is made by Savex, who is in this forum too.

Thanks, Gnome. That sounds expensive. Then again, so are 5-cylinder radial engines. <G>

I had a fast woman once - I don't know where she got to...<G>

Yep, no kids here. That saved a LOT of money. But I'd rather have had the kids. Oh well, maybe next go-around.

I just realized that the radial is in the appropriate power range for the Giant Aeromaster ARF I bought a while back. Now to figure out if I have to move the firewall back in order to get it to balance. Maybe not.

Oh yes, nice to remember the good old days!

Balancing is sometimes a problem, perhaps moving the receiver battery near the stabilizer will avoid firewall modification.
