Hi all, I hope someone can answer this question. I have an ABX, and the stupid thing comes with a 7.2v. 1800ma Ni-cad as the stock battery. Needless to say the flight times suck. I have these batteries (pic. below) That I want to take either two to make a 7.2v 1800ma, or three 7.2 2700ma packs. The problem is that I am not sure how I need to connect them together to do this, and if it is possible to charge them as if they were a 6 cell pack. The charger that I have is the eflight summit 250ma to 450ma and says that is is only good for 2 to 7 cells. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Zeb.[image][/image]

What you should do is buy some 3300mAh sub-c batteries of ebay like these and make yourself some packs. 26 bucks for two 3300mAh battery packs...you can't beat that!

There are 2800 mah NIMH packs available for the ABX if you want to buy new packs.

The cells you have are Commander/aerobird type packs. They will not put out enough amps to drive the motor in the ABX at full power, so you would need to hook two up in parallel to get the amperage you need. But that will only be a 900 mah pack, so it will give you 1/2 the flight time of the pack you already have.
