You should have seen Pete and whaturi hovering together. The problem was no one had a camera out until they were done doing it but it was cool to see....

Ok guys,I assembled one with a Evolution 58,all up weight of 18lbs.It is a great flying little plane, the first flight was flawless, little elevator trim(bal. on tube).Second flight was going great until"whats that following behind the plane?" low and behold let that be the right elevator and the rudder. All I can say is that you know that you are flying a stable airplane when you can have that happen and still land the plane on the runway on its wheels. The ca hinges pulled the wood out, going to replace them with Robarts over the weekend to fly again on Tuesday.

That sounds fermiliar, same thing happened to me except with my pin hinges but I guess it was my fault for not checking the pins when I landed I had 1 Pin left holding the elevator on and it was dangling. That was fun flying it around with 1 Elevator.

Is 16 lbs. close to what everyone is getting this one at with a DA 50?

More like 17 to 18lbs, and that's with lots of CF goodies.

Cheers!

Well, looks like I'll just be saving up to get an Aerotech kit instead. I'm thinking of getting the 35% Edge and putting a DA 100 in it. I really like that idea since I want to try my hand at building a 35% without having to buy my own air pump.
