    RT,
Maybe the ones you got were like allthe others in that bad batch of lipos that were puffing on all brands. I have a 7.4v 900 Mystery I flew 75 charges on my DF4 and it's still like new. It runs at air temp, NO heatup.
I got 7 of them in the first Dealextreme.com intro batch and they all seem good. The next batch after they ran out , have a different batch code and lots of them were bad. So that's probably why they call them Mystery. Will it be good or bad ?

    Just had a Duh moment!
I tried the Chinese weight mod on the stock plastic tail and found that the extra weight was breaking the blade holders! If I hadn't caught that on the bench I would have had a bad crash for certain.
I didn't really see any improvement in tail hold anyway but I might try it with an alloy tail someday to see what happens.

Hi guys, have anyone use the align 315mm blades on their walkera 36. I once use soon wooden align blade which made the heli a lot stable. Today, I put some more on.

I tried them and didn't like it. Didn't seem as responsive.

I think I know what's got you stumped on the gyro. Your used to seeing the walkera gyro's label facing up. Not all gyro's are built the same. If Chops label was facing up it would be wrong. If your walkera's label was facing to the side, then that also would be wrong. As for placement there is only one rule. The gyro's axis must be on the same plane as the main shaft. Other than that it's up to your judgment. Personally I like it under the boom block or on the left side of the boom block (like chops). Just so It's out of the blades reach in a crash. You could move the walkera gyro under the boom with the label facing down. Just remember to reverse it.

    RT,

The label on the Walkera gyro is on it's side. If you installed it label up then the gyro would be on it's side. It would probably work that way but it is designed to be mounted the other way as is the Telebee. As I posted earlier, The solid state gyros must be able to adjust to different mounting positions by sensing it on startup otherwise you wouldn't be able to mount them on their side and still have them work properly as up and down movements would be translated to rudder adjustments!

    Hello,
Longer blades are supposed to make a heli more responsive and sure did on my 37 and the Comet but I tried a set of 315s on my 36 and didn't see much difference. I am thinking about trying a longer boom and 325 blades on a 36 to see what that will do but I would bet that someone here has tried this already and can tell us about it.

Got to go to Tulsa for a few days.
    See you guys later,
    Huey

BH, I have a tail boom for the align 450, which I cut down to fit with the walkera tail belt. I have another tail boom, I guess I would need a longer balt. Do you think the align belt have the same mesh as the walkera?

I meant the round Walkera logo on top of there gyros. Not the sticker. It sure wouldn't work on its side. Heli gyros have only one axis. It's orientation within the case is dependent on the design. That axis must hinge on the same plane as your main shaft. It can not sense any other axis. It can be moved around as long as you keep the axis oriented. For example you could place the Walkera gyro under the boom with the logo facing down. As long as the gyro can have it's correction reversed. Also you can rotate it on it's axis. For example you could have its control panel facing forward, back, left or right and it wouldn't make any deference. I'll try to edit a picture to show what I'm saying.

Could someone send me a top and side view of the Walkera gyro? Thanks.

    Ron
