No, The only difference between them is a small one in the plug. The Futaba plug has a small tab on it to make sure that you get the polarity correct. If you have a Rx that doesn't use the tab you can cut it off.

I have the one on my 36 and like it. It has a little temp drift problem but not bad. I like the way it holds and I just bought the digital compatable version for my Comet to use with a 9257 gyro so I will have a direct comparison to the Walkera G007 that was on that heli.

    Should be interesting.

I got my FRP blades in from HeliDirect today and when I got em in my hands I instantly hit the roof. NICE !!! I had never seen a set of FRP blades before. They look like something from a million $$ aircraft. They are more stiff than my CF blades and have such a nice smooth finish. the airfoil looks low drag, but that could mean great for sport flying but possibly make a good bit of drag at high lift angles. The tips are nice too, not just a square cut.

BUT..... Daaaaang. Out of balance. HD sent me a new pair, so no problem. At only $15 , don't expect red carpet quality, but I did get red carpet service from HeliDirect. They very nicely corrected the problem.
I think, what are those expensive FRP and CF blades like ? I think a well balanced set of these blades will beat wood anytime. No warping or tracking changes with weather.

    Statement from HeliHobby:

We are no longer planning on renewing stock for Walkera 36. We are currently offering great deals to liquidate 36 stock but you must order multiple items. We are prepared to offer you smashing deals so if you are interested please call HeliHobby and ask to speak with Nikki @ 818 348 4354. If you wish to email her a parts list to get a price summary please PM me and I will send you an email addy for her.

Our reasons for not carrying Walkera 36 should not be viewed as a statement against this particular helicopter but more of a stock by demand situation. We will still carry other lines of Walkera helicopters.

We at HeliHobby hope you are finding only enjoyment in this wonderful hobby. If you need deals on anything Walkera related or not Nikki is there to help. It’s close to summer guys time for new toys!

Looks like I got trapped with TWO dead horses, the 36 and MX400. At least the MX can directly use many Trex parts. I didn't expect the 36 to last for so many flights, about 430 on one, and the other is apart for experiments but I can make it fly. Maybe get some gears or something.
T-Rex's were on the heavy side so I chose the 36 and MX400 CCPM.
