I also replaced the Walkera servos with Hitec HS-55's on my #36. They appear to deliver a quicker more precice response (my subjective POV) and have also reduced the slop. The standard walkera servo arms have holes that are too large for the control rod. I have been able to get a snug fit with the new Hitec servo arms.

I have had no problems with the Walkera 180 brushless motor and 30A ESC so far. Hope I havn't jinxed myself!

Any tips on how to loosen the belt tension?

i would like to buy a new heli from Walkera.

Anyone can tell me, Walkera #36 (after upgraded brushless motor) or Walkera #39 is better?

The stock motor on the 36 is absolute sh1te. I got about 3mins flying on mine b4 it got hot and the brushes got worn away.

I spent about 3 hours setting it up, and in the short 3mins i was very happy with it. NO vibration and it did what i wanted it to do. I have the 2200mah lipo and this seems fine charging to a total capacity of 1970mah on the first charge.

Over all i'm very happy with it, but chuck the motor in the bin and at the very least get a graupner S480.

One question for you all, i've ordered a walkera brushless motor and controller, but just wondering if a pinion comes with it, if not has anyone bought a pinion in the UK which suits????

    Thanks Andy

Use your old pinion, it should come out with a pair of plyers.
I have the brushless walkera motor and ESC and they work fine. The 36 is a knock off the shogun, just about every part is interchangeable so its no doubt it will fly fine and perform execpt for the the electronics.
actually since I bought a new Li-po and charger haven't had any probs at all. Everything works fine and I get 7-10 mins flights also I upgraded the blades to carbon composite, I bought 2 pairs so if anyone wants a pair I will ship them in the US for $22

i see no need for the carbon blades..
the foam ones are extreamly strong as they are..

you can use ur pinions but if you need another pinion.
    http://www.allerc.com/index.php?cPath=68 sells pinions..

    i like that site.
i can buy what i need to make a rc paper aeroplane..
if any1 has any advice about the paper aeroplane.. please tell
