The buggy is based around the Tamiya TL-01 touring car chassis, so any parts you break on the main chassis (NOT suspension, shocks, wheels, etc) will be interchangeable with this very popular car.

I have had a TL-01 car for years, and they are tough as nails. Not very advanced, but perfect for bashing. It was my very first "proper" rc, and now i have moved into nitro, and the TL-01 lives in the attic. The car itself is still working, but the electronics are shot.

Dam you! lol i was gonna say that Anyway Parts are easy to get because you just have to find a tl-01 replica dealer.

O and snowbl!nd If your tl-01 is an original 1 and not a remake, your sitting on a pot of gold :-P Original tl-01 chassis are very rare, SELL IT!! :-P

I just got mine Today, I won it last week a 4X4 with 3 batteries (2 3000ah DreadNaught (junk?) NiMH) and an ac/dc pulse charger that looks like its never been used, all the wires are still wrapped up and everything, and the truck came in the original box all wrapped it's as clean as when it was new and the nubs are still ready to be worn off.

I had a tough time getting the batteries to cycle with the charger and run more than 3 minutes per charge but at dark tonight the last run was 44 minutes. I'm a beginner and I think for $87 shipped for the whole shootin match I stole this set-up. what do you guys think? I would like to get a manual, and he charging wire that goes to the Transmitter to charge the AA's that are in there, it shows it on the charger box but says it's not included, Any ideas on the manual, anyone want to scan and send it over the net to me. I'd certainly appreciate it and make it worth your time.

I want to go ultra Crazy- and buy a Nitro powered screamer and race to win next season as our track will only be open on the weekends now, as we do get a bit nippy and snowy here in the Hills of SD. I can't believe the engineering that has shown up in these cars and trucks, just like the real thing, a Balsa Wood Z-06 that hits 60 in 3.6? simply amazing stuff, we are truly at a peak in performance and efficiency my friends. But I am going to purchase a nitro when the prices are low because the stores haven't seen a customer for 3 days up here and then this truck will keep the friends busy while I take care of my (gold plated) tricked out Truck. Hey I have another question, WHY NO CHEVROLET BODIES? What's the deal South Dakota is Bowtie country man that stinks. You can't change anything to make a ford look like a Chevy c'mon.

I own 3/4's of an acre for a yard and I have a bobcat at my disposal next door and there isn't anyone around that cares what I build in my back yard, who knows Dakotarado Racing ?????? You're RC Buggy and Truck racing headquarters with Parts and supplies, and maybe even a mechanic or two to help fix em for a nominal fee. Now were talking!! (crazy)

Until next time,

Soon to be President of a new Truck and car club that caters to only the wheeled version of our hobby, as there are 5 clubs and there all Air only, well we will show em what real fun and mayhem Nitro burning 4X4's can stir up. Anyone else in this area reading this and interested in starting a club, and maybe branching out to bigger and better things in the spring?

Why not make a couple bucks for yourself and the family, email me and ask about Dinar.

Those cars seem rather proprietary, and they are ultra hyped by the manufacturers. If you want a true R/C car with upgrade potential, parts support, and a company that can spedd "Please" look into Traxxas. They make stuff that is still easy to maintain, but they still have some upgradibility (See my site! ) and they are pretty good with the right stuff.

Don't worry, we all know they are factory seconds, or Wal-Mart buy backs, but for under $75 I got a pulse charger, 2) 3300ah 7.2v perfectly good batteries, and a 1/10 scale truck that is funner than hell to blast all over the friggin place, it's a barrel of fun for a mere $75.

How much was that Traxxas again? We know what we got when we bought them. Up for a bonus on Traxxas sales this month or what? Why not Team Losi? I particularly like the SAVAGE 25 from HPI.

Thanks for the !QUOT!hot!QUOT! tip we'll sure consider it while we continue to drive our $75 Trucks for hours of fun.

I got one of the Bonzer's from eBay. Just received it last night. I may eat these words later, but for $100 shipped, this is a very nice truck. Radio with servo reversing and steering EPA (it's called D/R on the knob, but that's not what it does). I haven't taken it apart, but removing a wheel brought out the fact that there are rubber sealed bearings supporting the axles. Turnbuckles on the steering arms and thick dogbones all around as well. I'm not worried about parts. It looks identical to a TL-01, except the body and wheels and tires are from the Wild Dagger.
Haven't had it outside yet, but it made for some wheelie popping fun in the living room last night.

Here's a pic as it came out of the cardboard box.....

I also posted more over at RcZone, in the TL-01B forum.

I just won a Hai Bo Xing Bonzer Cross Tiger monster truck on Ebay.

I found a website that has a video of it in action.

I received my bonzer and it is very fast! It is a lot of fun. It's so fast that I accidentally crashed into a curb and broke the bumper.

From what I heard is that it uses a lot of the same parts as the TL-01, but the Bonzer's bumper attaches with 3 screws, and the TL-01 with 2.

Does anybody know of a bumper that might fit?

I found a parts list for the Bonzer and sent them an email.

The TL-01B Baja Champ and Baja King's bumper is the same. You'll need the C-Parts tree for 58221. The tree's part number is 0005688.

Hello, I have owned the truck for about a year, I had the initial reverse problems but with the trim was able to resolve it. Know thow even with adjustments to the trim reverse doesnt work. Ran it in the snow (packed) so i am suspecting mosture damage. When I reverese now it twiches (steering) and I hear that whining sound. What do I need to replace?
