ok, I got a light 1/10 scale car, spare wings from an Aerobird, and a crazy Idea. What if I attached the wings, lightened the chassis, and attached a rudder thats linked with the steering control, do you think I could get this off the ground?

You guys r the experts...

How would you control pitch? What's going to keep it in the air after the initial "hop"?

ok, what if I mounted small wings vertical onto the wheels, and found a way to get them to not spin. Then when in the air, use the steering control to move the front axle, which, in turn, makes the front mounted rudder move, making the car turn. Would That work?

hehe, lmao, too close to home here. I have one of those RC micro racer cars I'm doing that very thing to. I'm turning the drive motor into a servo and am going to coax the steering control to do it's part. Let me know what any of you that like to back engineer struff like this to do different things do, I'm finding it entirely an uphill battle, but have been getting essential "micro-screws" for the RC hobby end in the process at least and am learning tons.

It would certanly make it easyr to lank

but not shure

and you coulden't have the rudders on the front wheels because it needs to spin to land
