What have you got? I'm usually a pretty patient person, but this is getting a little out of hand.

Well, guys,
I called Horizon today. I wanted to clear up some confusion regarding two different due dates. Chief says February and even confirms that. Horizon says that Chief has not updated the due date yet on their web page. I ask Horizon, what's the hold up and the gentleman explained the high amount of details and quality for this ARF has delayed the first production run. There are no compromises with this airplane accepted. The April due date is kinda for safety in case first production is encountering problems. He said it is very possible to see the first large shipment arrive in March. There is also a long list of backorders.
I guess I'll wait. I already bought all the servos for this bird.

September, March, April. I'll still buy one, but I have cabin fever BAD! I'm going to order a CMP Hellcat for now. I'll do the P-47 next fall / winter.

I'm hearing whispers from KMP that they're going to release some new models this spring, maybe even a 80 something inch Corsair. But it's only whispers. Anybody heard the same thing?

That was a joke BTW, its not October. I understand you guys frustration and we appreciate your patience. Our folks were in the factory yesterday BTW, and said the production is going very well and the quality looks great.

I just got home from the AMA convention in Ontario, CA today. They had one hanging just over the entrance to the exhibit hall. It's big, it's beautiful, and even though it's shiny, it looks awesome. Didn't have my camera with me otherwise I'd post some shots for ya'll. Based upon what I saw, this one will be worth the wait.

All covering has been removed and all surfaces glassed with .75oz cloth except rudder. Fuse and wing have first primer coat and control surfaces are ready for sanding and priming. Add your panel lines and paint !

Over $1000.00 worth of airplane

Sell for $750.00 with RCS or $550.00 w/o engine

Flanker, It was a beauty wasn't it. I also noticed the extra shine to it. I could still deal with it.

For the guys that havn't seen it up close, Wow..........is all I can say. The picture's I had seen don't do justice for what it looks like for real.

I was at the AMA Convention yesterday, too. This thing is nice. REALLY nice! I can now understand why Horizon is taking the time to get it right. Once this thing starts hitting the streets, the people who weren’t sure if they wanted one are going to want one.

My friend and I have had ours on order for months. Our other friend was waiting to see one. He is calling the LHS today to add himself to the list.

Here's some pics:

Way back, someone asked about the wheel size. Well, with the gear retracted on the only H9 P-47 in the USA that is available for us to view, it was hard to measure the wheels.

But according to Peter Goldsmith, the wheels are 4.5" in diameter.

"So far, I believe nothing that I hear and half of what I see", but time will tell.

I better clear that up. That is wrong. The wheels are 3-1/2" diameter.
