In the picture above of Bryce landing the F-5, it appears that he is landing at a 45+ degree angle to the runway?

Hmmm, having seen some of the other 'models' out there, I think we'd all enjoy a few pics of that John

Are you saying that you would rather look at this kind of models???

Maybe if we look really hard we can find some that are family friendly enough to post in "the other thread"

Little crosswind, but Bryce landed perfectly, correcting with rudder before touch down.

The Comp-ARF Lightning kept flaming out on take off, but when if finally flew, it looked good in the air. Kinda like a Maverick on steroids with a funky cockpit area.

Thats all for today. The organizers have rented an entire water park tonight from 8PM till late for our pool party. Unfortunately, there aren't any contestants I'd want to see in their Speedos. But, with a little luck, they have an all female life guard staff.

The temperature is still in the 90's, so it will be nice to relax in the pool and testing the water slides after a few Red Bull/Vodkas.

STAY TUNED...

Guys,

I just got a message from the company who does my web hosting. My account has been suspended for too high usage. 10 gigabytes in a few days... Oh well.

With the current data transfer rate, the penalty is about $100 per day.

So, unfortunately we have to switch to the low resolution RCU quality from now on, unless someone can host the hi-rez pictures or someone wants to sponsor the $ 500 bandwith upgrade.

Here is what a typical photo looks like when hosted on RCU. Is that good enough for ya??? RCU automatically reduces the picture quality, and the result is so-so

I think you are limited to 3 meg / picture. This seems good enough to produce good quality pix... at least better than the one you've posted. rcu does nothing automatically, just limits size.

Well then, I'm glad I saved copies of the interesting photos to my hard drive before they cut you off! Dustin's F-86 is currently my wallpaper.

Carbon Copy me at sean@reitmeyer.com and I will post them as well, you can have a moderator do an edit of all your posts pretty quickly to redirect to either him or me whichever is faster.

John,

Not sure who the Grinch is but they have zapped all your previous Hi-Rez pictures. Great if one of these guys has a backup method for hi-rez but if not the RCU quality is good enough to keep the pictures flowing.....don't stop now, this is better than live TV.

Great job,

Craig

All right guys...

You can thank Sean for getting the photos back up again. I just e-mailed him 160 high resolution photos from my balcony in Hungary. We are currently changing the links in each post, but in an hour or so, all photos should be up again.... Ya gotta love technology. I'm wireless here in hungary

The internet is pretty incredible. Within 30 minutes after loosing the photos I had 5 offers from people who offered to host them... Thanks all.

Ok guys, in some cases John is going to make posts that will immediately show up as an X. This is gonna have to be OK, he and I can't guarantee that as he's posting the links, I'm immediatly dropping the pictures into the subdirectory. But rest assured they will show up as soon as possible.

Your welcome John, anytime.

Sean

All pictures are back up again. Seans server is also faster than mine.

Only problem that Sean did not think about is that I will now be calling him at 3 in the morning so he can upload my photos for all you information hungry readers.

Here is a photo of an old Mig 15 that is hiding under the trees at the airport
