Okay, I am going to upgrade my ramp from board on plastic box to a real ramp. My basic design is going to be alot like crunk's. Does anyone have a good angle to make the curve or would it be better to make it a flat jump?

man I like this thread, let's git er goin again! people post pics/ideas/plans of your ramps. I've been using a 12" launch ramp from walmart, but I'm looking into building a new ramp. taller and wider of course I'm going to go easy on the angle though. Not looking to kill my stampede.

hehe you're right about that! I haven't hurt it much jumping. It's the hitting trees at 35 mph that hurts!

I'm used to stockers and i just upgraded to a quad mag and now i need to learn how to really drive. I don't want to kill my truck on the first jumps so how hard is it to control a 2wd 5 feet in the air? Is the qm fast enough that all i gotta do is use some throttle to correct it? I need to build me a wide ramp since i can't drive too good yet.

I have sweet ramps to do backflips with my pede!!!!

They are trees I go full speed into the tree and the truck goes straight up and does a backflip once it gets about 5 or 10 feet up the tree!!

No work needed to make my ramps!!!

With a jato at full speed you'd get like 10 feet off of a 2ft ramp. That looks like it's around 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall.

Decals???

Ummmm I used a hobby knife, big piece of sticky contact stuff and a can of black paint

Oh and I'm soz guys but I don't have my video's anymore, formatted my compy . If anyone has my vid on their compy still wanna upload it ???

And it's like 10:30PM here in Australia and I'm not oging outside to measure up my ramp, I'll do it tommorow. And I don't know how to explain how I made the curve, I just did it by eye. And now I am in the process of removing the end of the ramp to make it "less kicky". I think it pushes my evader to high.
