Yep, RCX. At iHobbyExpo, I actually jumped and did 360 backflips off of skateboard ramps too.

I own some cheap Losi ramps that I have never used and don't plan to ever use, but that is not the point of this thread. As a matter of fact, I was asked if I wanted some of those same skateboard ramps used at 2005 iHobbyExpo. However, I would have had to haul them from California and they weigh around 200lbs each. Those are even bulky though they fold up somewhat unlike the others in the photos I took and posted. Quite frankly, I can practice at the local off-road tracks pretty much every weekend if I want, so there is no reason for me to go through the hassle of building ramps or even setting up and storing ramps. The dirt tracks are also usually a little more forgiving than the concrete or asphalt. Using RCP Tracks to cover the concrete or asphalt would help spare the RC on a bad jump.

Anyone gong to RCX 2006?

Yeah I got some ideas This sounds stupid but just make the shape you want out of card board, then tape on sides.

This sounds like it wont work, but cardboard works fine for most mini's.

im not playin wen i say this, anything that can be supported by cardboard use cardboard. you can make some insane ramps, and can change the angle and lip angle very easily and there inexpensive and just throw them away wen they get bad.

Duct tape + Card board = Insane Air

The equation you need to learn when you own mini's

Me and my cousin built a ramp much like SenSeiRC's its about 3ft tall with less of a curve than his its great fun but the ocasional nose dive will bend the suspension pins and crack caster blocks so fast I keep at least 2 sets in my spare parts box but the air you get is to addictive to stop lol

I have smaller ramps that are only about a foot tall but the sight of that ramp and how much air I get off it just won't let me get rid of it lol. My lil brother is a skater so I have lots of lil ramps and stuff around my house

If you prop the Factor X up on a mound of dirt or something it works great...
