13th Annual New York Ship & Model Boat Festival

The South Street Seaport Museum will host the 13th Annual New York Ship & Boat Model Festival on Saturday and Sunday, August 6th and 7th, 2005 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Dozens of model builders will display their work on Pier 16 located at South and Fulton Street and float their models in our pool-on-the-pier. Simultaneous demonstrations of nautical skills, tours of the square-rigger Wavertree, children¹s activities, and musical entertainment round out the weekend. Explore the Museum’s fleet of historic ships, the spectacular view from Pier 16 and learn about the art of model boat making.

The Festival has been made possible through funding provided by Commerce Bank.
