That's great shots, well done to the camera man!!

Man what a field you’ve got there!!

Do you have higher res format of those photos?

I'll have to check with the cameraman on the higher res photos. I'll also tell him what a good job he did on the picture taking. I had a heck of a time trying to get him to stand behind and off to the right of me to take em.

Sorry in advance for my dumb question. How does the tail wheel stay on when mounted the PA recommended way? It looks like the one wheel collar keeps it from going up to far. When keeps it the other way?

Thanks,
Rob

Are you mounting it to be steerable?

I was going to go with the recommended non-steerable method. My preference is to go with the solution that's robust. What do you recommend and how do I do it?

Thanks,
Rob

I would just set it up to be steerable. To do that, you just drill a hole in the rudder and bend the wire @ a 90 degree angle to insert it into the rudder. The collar just prevents additional stress on the rudder on rough landings. It'll hold up just fine.

Hey, have you guys died? Or are you too busy flying the wings off your Bad Boy V2's like I am?! This thing gets better all the time. And, it makes me look alot better than I am at 3D. Anyone even thinking of getting one of these should jump on it while they are still in stock. Maybe Novabill will chime in with a stock status?

STATUS UPDATE.

Only 16 Bad Boys left. They are all red and have been test fit to assure perfect planes. These last planes won't last long, so if you have been thinking about ordering, you better get off your duff

What's the preferred method of running the antenna? My preference will be to mount it so the BB can be stored / transported with the wings off.

Per the instruction manual. Drill a hole in the rx wing and stick the antenna out through a piece of fuel line tube and attach it all the way over the black cover strap with sticky tape

Simple

Have you considered one pack setup instead of two?

Also going with smaller prop?

OK, I had to put it up 99% complete because of the new product release. I'll get the link to the home page and the picture thumbnails working soon.

Check it out. The video page will be up in a week and it'll have 30 or 40 vids on it.

I am just about to order my Badboy. And i have a Katana Mini, and was very impressed with the quality of that plane from PA. But what i want to know is would standard futaba s3003 servos be sufficient for this plane, or will i need something a bit better. As im working on a budget. I have the engine a OS 46AX which from what i have seen should power it just nicely.

Cheers Joel

You definitely don’t need the 60gr weight

Check for any warp in the ailerons from rear view and use a heat gun to fix this warp if any

Email us directly to: support@precisionaerobatics.com and we will help you out if needed

Which engine?

What engine would best suit the BB:
I have an OS 70 Surpass 4 stroke and an OS 55AX 2 stroke and also a Rossi 40. I know the 70 has been used but does that mean adding a ton of lead in the tail to balance it?

I do have a 46AX but thats in another plane.

Thanks

Given those three options, the OS 55AX is the hands down winner.

An APC 13x4 on the 55 AX will make that BB into a very capable 3D machine.
