Status: offline 		I hate decisions so I stuck the finishing nail in the wing tip. With the kids' Soccer in full swing and/or the high winds I still haven't gotten to fly mine.

Scott, built according to the specs and using the proper weighted nail, should mine balance laterally or tip to the right to offset the motor torque? Mine tips to the right.

I usually balance mine pretty much on the money, but if it tips to the right a bit, that will not hurt a thing.

For the longest time I never laterally balanced! And that was when I was running 2100's. The things we learn along the way!

Status: offline 		I used a .10 cents (a dime) to balance mine. Even with a dime it tips to the right. A nickel was way to heavy for my setup. I put a small slit on the wing tip and slid the dime in their nice slow and taped the wing tip with hinge tape.

I took a balsa kit from Aerocraftrc.com, it's a 12" profile F-15:

Made templates from the balsa and traced them onto the foam. I hooked up an Airhogs Aero Ace power system. I'll see how she flies tomorrow!

Status: offline 		Well got my second flight on the AeroSport and this thing is really fast. It handles the wind very well. It was popping on low rates. Another guy at my flying field said "Man that thing gets out of sight fast". It floated in for a smooth landing. The AeroCat will be maidened sometime this week.
