Hitec published this chart of features comparing the Optic 6 to other radios. Under the Acro/Glider functions it lists something called "2 flap wing mix". I can't find any reference to this function in the manual.

What is this? I am of the impression that the Optic can NOT address a 4 servo wing directly. Two flap servos would have to go on a Y cable. So, what is this "2 flap wing mix"?

Mike,

You must be kidding! 2 flap wing mix is flapperons?

Why didn't they just call it flapperons?

Talk about missleading. I had a guy arguing with me that that meant that it could handle two independent flap servos = 4 servo wing. Can't say as I blame him. If I didn't know better that is what I would have thought.

Unfortunately he bought the radio, based on this chart, and was looking for help because he couldn't figure out how to set the 2 flap wig mix so he could trim is flap servos.

Someone ought to fix that. That is EXTREMELY missleading.
